Expertise includes acting for financial product issuers in relation to compliance with the Financial Markets Conduct Act (which governs financial markets in New Zealand), advising on compliance for Financial Markets Supervisors and Managers and their fiduciary duties, international finance and structuring; taxation advice of financing arrangements and capital markets issues. Patrick devised New Zealand’s first immigration-qualifying property-backed Residential Investment Fund where, unlike other development investment offerings, the investor does not take on any development risk.
